It’s Never Too Late to Be Happy

The synopsis reminds me a little of The Switch by Beth O’Leary, which focuses on the relationship between a free spirited elderly woman and her much younger granddaughter. I think the dynamic between characters with a large age gap, particularly in friendships, is something which is not featured in many books, and as such I am incredibly intrigued to read this novel! It sounds incredibly uplifting, with a more meaningful message at its centre: it’s never too late to start again, and focus on what makes you happy!
