The generations help each other.

One of the main messages I get from the description of this story, is how people of different ages came become friends and help each other through troubled times. The main characters are; a woman in her forties who has not made a success of her life, and another woman in her eighties who is facing her own personal problems. Throughout the story they will both help each other to overcome difficulties.
