This was a surprisingly brilliant read! I read this not as a 40 year old, but it was still highly relevant. We’ve all felt lost, alone, we’ve all been single and dumped and heartbroken. This book was a joy - it was a realistic look at the emotions that make us all feel human, but done in a beautiful way so that it didn’t feel sappy, or overdone.
Would recommend this to everyone - especially women! This protagonist was realistic and relevant - I could relate to a lot of her features and emotions, they felt really genuine and honest. The dating and way in which the protagonist lived her life, her living situation and the ending were delightfully satisfying and made for a really good ending - it was a little predictable, but in a “I really want that to happen and it would work if it did kind of way!!” This would make an awesome film, the characters were so vivid!
