I am in awe of this book, to say we are at different ages...
I have never related to someone quite as much as Nell.
The book follows 'forty-something year old' Nell throughout the next year of her life after a long term relationship breaks down. She goes from beaches and Sun, too being back in dreary old London.
I don't want to give to much details away as it'll defeat the purpose of you reading it.

I thought it was incredible to read, her descriptiveness is amazing. I could really visualize everything she described, to Edwards kitchen to the views in Cumbria.

I find Nell brilliant and Cricket is how I dream to be as confident, brave and quirky as she. I absolutely recommend anyone to read Confessions of a forty something if you are feel lost or like a failure in yourself or have just lost yourself in life!
Her thoughts and feelings in situations really stayed with me, she really has a way of drawing you in and making you feel it too.

I can officially say this book is now sitting proudly with my previous all time favourite book, close to kicking it off the throne!
You'll do yourself a favour reading this book, I've never felt more at peace with myself, and will definitely try to continue to do so after reading this.
