This begins like a Bridget Jones of 2020.
It tells its tale through humour and a great observation of modern life.
The author uses a sad tale and tells it whilst giving hope and amusing the reader through telling of the characters adventures in her newly single status life.
Set in London and giving a viewpoint of the financially different lives of its inhabitants. Shows the differences in lifestyles and what can be afforded in life.
Highly funny and comic and the list format makes it easily readable and compulsive reading. I can see this being a summer read for the year.
Style is writing is refreshing without losing attention to detail. Character is well described and likeable to the reader.
