This book was an absolute joy to read. I had the best time. It’s so relatable and honest. What I liked best were the characters of Nell and Cricket. I was so thrilled with their relationship. This book tracks the peaks and troughs of any life really. We see love, loss, heartbreak, missed opportunities, friendship, experiences, pets and everything else. I really really enjoyed it.
It’s written following the linear twelve months of the year so you see a year in a life of Nell. One door closes and another one opens, as they say, and this is the epitome of what this book is about.
