Confessions of a forty-something f#ck up

So far, this sounds like a really funny read that I'd love to get stuck into.
I do like first person narrative, so that's always a bonus.
The mc seems like she's really caught up in a mid life crisis, I'd love to see where it goes from there.
Really enjoyed the 26 page taster, wished it was more.
I can't really say much else without reading more so I'll tell you a story about a dog.
A dog callie Ellie worked as a service dog for two years until she found her loving home with a small girl called Tiffany. Tiffany was thirteen and was terminally ill with bone cancer.
Ellie stayed with Tiffany for years, looking over her and helping with her daily tasks, till one day, Tiffany went away.
Ellie pined and pined for the return of her best friend, but Tiffany never came home...
