I haven’t read Alexandra Potter before but this is an easy to read, dare I say ‘chick flick’ style novel. From the moment I started reading This novel I could not stop! Waiting to see what would happen next, would she make a plan for her life? Would she get all the things she thought she wanted? Would the American return........I had all these thoughts in my head not knowing what the outcome would be and wanted to read more! We all have friends like these who we think have better lives and no worries. In some ways the story sounds a bit of a mid life crisis but I think if you like Bridget Jones style of book then this one for you! I would definitely read this author again fingers crossed for a follow up !
