I felt like I was friends with Nell. I felt like I knew all her friends. Even the ones I didn’t like at first I loved by the end. This book cheered me up no end. I laughed out loud very loudly several
Times throughout to the point that both my other half and my little doggie think I’m crazy and gave me the look ! I cried a little and I was sad when it ended. Sad it ended but so happy to have been on the journey having read it.
Loved the style of writing. Very very relatable and easy reading.
For such a funny book it also had a range of emotions and a heartwarming and reassuring undertone.
Everyone, everyone everyone needs to read this book. Although honestly I don’t think 20 somethings would find it as funny but I’m 40 this year and for me it was perfect. Modern day Bridget jones meets bad moms meets sex and the city meets ugly Betty.
