At first I thought this book will be like Brigitte Jones but it is so much better. Nell is such a relatable , honest and real woman. I could easily recall similar situation in my life that she experienced. The perfect pushy mums , friends absorbed in babies , avocado on everything and single use plastic! After a failed relationship and business Nell comes back to uk and tries to rebuild her life in London but with london flat prices she can only afford to rent a room . With all her friends having kids and husbands she is the only one in her forties, single and broke. Her mum constantly hinting about grandchildren and a son in law Nell tries her hardest to figure out what does she really want in her life. I have laughted and cried many times while reading this book. It kept me sant during this lockdown.
