Nell is a relatable, funny and brutally honest character and following her on her escapades really is like following a best friend through life. There is a little bit of us all in Nell somewhere.
There are many laughs and emotional moments throughout the book and that just adds to the sense that you’re living alongside Nell and living through her journey with her. As she works her way through finding a new job, place to live and friendships you can’t help but become emotionally invested.
I particularly enjoyed the writing style and how the book just flowed, everything felt like a natural progression of the story rather than forced for content.
