This was a really fun book, following a year in the life of Nell who has returned to London following a break up with her American Fiancée.
She starts writing obituaries, and meets Cricket a 80 something widow and the two instantly click...which is just as well as her best friend group are all busy leading their own lives. All of Nell's relationships with friends, family and new love interest are believable and moves along at s good pace.
This book is not a new concept, but it is warm hearted, enjoyable and very very easy to read. If we were having summer holidays I'd say it was the perfect beach book, as it is, it is still a fabulous fun read and I'm grateful to Readers First for giving me an advance copy. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
