Oh this was such a wonderful read! So charming and heartwarming! You totally fallin love with Nells character and find yourself cheering her on, sad at her tragedies and hurrahing her triumphs. The thought of her ending up writing obituaries is both ridiculous and yet it brings so much to the storyline. It sets the pace and scene of the novel in that is this the depths she has sunk to and yet a heartwarming story emerges when she meets the incredible Cricket our lady of great humour and grace with life challenges of her own.
