This is exactly the type of book I'd usually read, especially because there's swearing in it, which I always enjoy! The book comes across as very conversational which is easy to read and it's always easier when books are easy to read! The main character, Nell, is quite likeable and also relatable with all of her forty-something problems. Sometimes in books you get characters that have everything they want and it's all perfect, it's nice to see a character that doesn't have it all, but instead is just an ordinary woman trying to get through her life one day at a time. Aren't we all?
I definitely look forward to reading the rest of this book to see what Nell gets up to. I'm hopeful that her life will get back on track. We'll see!
