Not too old, not too late and yes you can!
I was given this book as a birthday present for my 40th birthday (were they trying to tell me something ha!) and initially thought this was going to be awful.
I was wrong. This book is amazing! I'm not single and don't consider myself to have a f##ked up life, however no truer word has been said about the fact that no amount of smashed avocado is going to make your life any better!
I'd like to think this is a true story but I'm pretty sure it isn't, however we can all relate in one way or another with moments of this story. In the past I've had to move back home after a failed relationship, with a child in tow, in my thirty-somethings, and yes, I also thought #whatthehellamidoingwithmylfe, but as it is described in this book, it's not the end but merely the beginning of something new!
Brilliantly written, very amusing and relatable, and I hope there is a follow up book.
This book will pick you back up again and give you the motivation to say yes to everything, except when offered to see stand up comedy! #notfunny
