Something to look forward to!
As a thirty something whose life hasn’t gone quite the way I had planned the title was very intriguing! I haven’t looked forward to a birthday in a long time so I could sympathise there ... never mind wine being top of the gratefulness list! Will life begin at 40 something ....looking forward to finding out!
The style of writing kept it entertaining and I wanted to read on. Love-able character and “smug married” analysis was spot on from my perspective!
Reminded me of Bridget Jones .... which I have always loved, more relevant for the 2020’s.
“****ed” up memoirs are quite common, this one has definitely made my “want to read list” as I felt I could put myself in the author’s shoes.
