Such a brilliant book!
Just reached to the next age bracket and reading this book resonated with me - absolutely brilliant!
I felt really invested in the characters and it was nice not to feel alone when reading how she felt and what she was going through. It was almost a bit of a self-help book from that perspective!
I love all the inspirational quotes in there - I think the best one is:
Don’t worry too much about people liking you; liking yourself is far more important. This is so important and a great message in the book.
It's a very down to earth book and makes everything feel very normal, I do think more books should be written like this for that reason. Because life is pretty normal most of the time.
I also think it's a great book for anyone to read at any ages, not just because your 40+, I think there are a lot of lessons in this book and encouragement.
I'm not looking forward to reading more from this author.
