I really like the first impression of this book. It makes you think, what would you do in that situation if you were Selena or Martha? Having just found out your husband is cheating on you with the nanny as the other woman and then confessing to someone on the train who IS the other woman. I like how eerie Martha makes you feel, when asked "how would your problem be solved?", she answers with such frightening suggestions and mannerism.
