A cultivating tale with spikes and teeth

The prologue is intense, cloaked in dark mystery and leaves a strong sense of harrowing events yet to be unveiled. We are introduced to Selena, her dilemma being her discovery of her husband having an affair with the nanny. The discovery has been made via video footage of a security camera that she placed in the children’s playroom. This footage gives insight into the bizarre nature of the affair, the nanny (Geneva) does not seem to be in love, or even enjoying the sex, but rather you are given the impression she is putting on a performance. We are presented with a possible scenario, Perhaps Geneva is afraid she will lose her job if she does or submit to the advances Selena husband has been making. However this is a seed planted by Anna. Selena meets Anna at the train station, but it becomes apparent this is more that just two strangers sharing instant intimacies, but more a strategic set up. Anna introduces herself as Martha, instantly suspicious. A cryptic text that Anna received, hints at a possible connection to Geneva. Elusive and subtly placed comments are made by Anna to Selena that are classic con artist techniques, except these elude to murder.
