Confessions on the 7.45 will certainly make us all very wary of getting involved in conversation with strangers on a train. Lisa Unger writs brilliantly about two women appearing to confide in one another during a train journey but only one is who she claims to be. This is an intriguing story of Selena who meets Martha on a train after discovering her husband is having an affair with their children's nanny. Martha also tells Selena of problems she's having at work after getting invloved in an affair with a colleague whose wife is the boss. Martha makes the comment that it would make their loves so much easier of our problems could just disappear. Selena starts getting messages from Martha even though she can't remember giving her her number. This is so well written, nothing is ever quite as it seems at first but the author slowly reveals all the intricacies of this great story.
