Confessions On The 7:45 is one of the best books I've read in a long time. There are too many twists and turns to count, yet it all ties together so neatly at the end of the book. I felt this was handled really well; too often in books of this style, the ending feels rushed as the author tries to explain everything in the last couple of pages. This was absolutely not the case with this book though - it was done very carefully and in a clever way that I haven't seen done before. I loved that each chapter was told from the perspective of one of several different people - this really added depth to the story as you came to understand what was happening from different points of view, and started to put the pieces together. The characters were all really well developed too, and I found myself empathising with most of them at different points in the books.

I've never read any of Lisa Unger's books before, but will definitely be seeking out all of her others now.
