Selena Murphy apparently had the perfect life, job and family.
One evening her train gets stuck and she starts to talk to the woman sitting next to her. Conversation is easy and the two women have an immediate connection. She says her name is Martha and somehow she starts telling Selena about her boss with whom she’s having an affair and doesn’t know what to do about it. In turn Selena says she’s afraid that her out of work husband is sleeping with the nanny. Immediately regretting sharing her worries she tells herself that she will never see Martha again.
A few days later the nanny disappears and Selena’s perfect life disappears.
This is a well written book with a twisty plot that has some clever surprises. It’s easy to read and I found myself just reading yet another chapter. I can recommend this book and author to lovers of the thriller suspense genre.
