The cover had caught my eye but the title is what personally stood out to me. The title itself has an almost ominous tone to it which made me want to check this book out. As soon as I read the blurb I was hooked! The story seems to be well thought out and intriguing however the concept isn't completely unique. Had to take a few points off due to lack of originality as I felt as if I've read/seen many similar stories. From the writing however, the book seems to be very compelling and engaging. The tension is built throughout the book from the cover to the blurb to the very first pages and hopefully all the way to the very end. I would love to continue reading it to find out who Martha really is and see how the plot continues to thicken and develop. All in all the book seems to be a quick, easy read, especially for someone who might not have much time on their hands.
