To begin with, style of writing enthralled me from the beginning, due to how there is a lot of description into the lives that the characters lead, and the world that they live in.
Next, the plot and story really got my attention. For a number of reasons. Firstly, the fact that two characters meet on a train. I enjoy trains and everything they provide. Secondly, the strong sense of mystery! While mystery books can occasionally give me a little scare, I also love playing and taking on the role of a detective while reading. Lastly, it reminded me of another book called 'The Girl On The Train.' I read that book a year ago and enjoyed it, so I feel I will experience the same with 'Confessions on the 745.'
The characters interested me, as they all seem to live chaotic lives, so will allow me to become attached to them.
