Selena meets a stranger (Martha) on the train from her way home from work. Martha shares that she is having an affair with her married boss and Selena shares that she thinks her husband is sleeping with the nanny. They part ways but that is not the last Selena hears from the stranger on the train.
This book was full of twists and turns and connections between characters. It is from the point of view of the Nanny, Selena and Martha but we hear from a girl called Pearl and a retired police detective. The story was so well written and out together that I was hooked. The amount of characters didn’t make it confusing and finding out how they all connect was a gripping journey.
I can’t say too much without spoiling anything but I was gripped with this story and it was one of the top books I’ve read this year. I would definitely recommend this to any thriller fan and will read more by this author.
