So much promise, was audio narrator ruined experience
I was so excited to read this when I initially read the synopsis and for the most part I was gripped. However, I did find that the story line did get a tad confusing to me after a while and got a bit muddled. I did enjoy the premise and the story did flow fantastically. The only thing was there did seem to be a lot going on at once so I had to try and keep up with each of the characters stories and what was going on with them.
I did really enjoy the flow and the writing style but again, too many characters explained on too much depth to keep up with and remember. I also listened to the audio version of this book alongside reading the ebook and perhaps this is why I found that things got confusing. I didn’t feel like the narrator added any value to the story. The narrators voice seemed extremely false and off putting and this could have seriously distorted my experience of what I would imagine to have been a solid 4 star.
