Thank you so much @readersfirst for a #gifted copy of this book!

Well, Confessions on the 7:45 hooked me up straight away! It has been a while since a book shocked me like that with the first chapter and I felt really lucky to receive a copy!

I felt a little bit confused at the beginning with the characters. There were quite a few of them, all female and with similar stories and it took me a couple of chapters to understand who was who.

However, once I got things into place: Wow! That was a lot to take in and I loved it!

The drama, the betrayals by husbands and friends and employees, the "what's going on" moments, the discoveries that took place, the twists and turns... It was all quite good.

And it kept that way for almost the entire book.

However, a little bit over half way through, when the big reveal was starting to take place, there were many characters, many personalities, many people appearing all of a sudden, that it all got a bit too much and I started to feel lost again.

And I lost a bit of interest, unfortunately.

I liked how the story wrapped up and I enjoyed the final twist. I didn't see it coming and it was good. But, like I said, the book in general was a bit more complex to follow that I would have liked it and it took a lot of my attention and focus to know what was really going on and who was who!

Overall, a very enjoyable read with an amazing first part!
