Confessions on the 7:45 is the first book by Lisa Unger that I have read but I was drawn to it by the exciting blurb and the nice cover illustration. It took a few chapters to get used to who each character was and the reason for their seemingly random inclusion within the book. I thought I had worked out some of the connections before they became apparent but I wasn't always entirely correct. I liked how the book moved swiftly and didn't linger for too long over any particular aspect. I found it to be engaging and although perhaps not entirely unpredictable, it was definitely well plotted and planned out. I think that I will read more of Lisa's books if they are written in a similar manner. I enjoyed the mix of domestic life with a few twists of crime and revenge and suspect it will have a wide appeal and do very well commercially. Thank you for my review e-copy Readers First
