I generally like books set in war time but following realising that this book is a sequel I feel that I am missing something. I feel that even though I read up to 100 pages I am still unsure of the storyline, I get that the main characters are in live but have been separated due to the war and appear to believe that the other is not alive but feel due to this being a sequel that I am missing vital information about their relationship and how they ended up where they are.
One thing I really didn’t like in this book is the fact that there are no specific chapters and I like to finish my reading at end of a chapter but have struggled with this and it seems a very long book so afraid didn’t carry on
