Cut is a psychological thriller that strapped me in and wouldn't let go, not that I wanted it to. It starts of with an interesting premise and we see some things that don't seem to make sense; a dress in a basement, bloodied childrens feet, and a man who clearly knows what it all means. We care for the characters as soon as they're introduced each one having the development necesary to make your eyes widen when one of them is attacked in the night. As the story goes on, never slowing down long enough for you to get too comfortable, secrets and lies become unravelled that leads you to a basement where blood is spilled and a horrifying truth is revealed. Leaving you grasping for answers about whether humans are really born inherently evil.
