The cover didn’t appeal that much to me and I didn’t particularly like the look of it whatsoever. The blurb on the back didn’t really intrigue me to read on but I heard it was an alright thriller so I gave it a try.
It did take me a while to understand the authors writing style which to me was okay, I tried to get into to it and I did with the story line having soo many twist. You also felt for the characters but not so much that you could relate to them and that was missing in the book. But the story line as I kept reading was gory and this is something I would definitely recommend for people who are into gory, violence and crime. I wasn’t really into it as much and the story did drag. It was also cliche in a way that a killer from a past returns and there’s this vengeance and all this stuff about Gabriel’s past which I’ve seen in soo many book and hoped it was different.
