An Exciting New Read From An Excellent Duo
I've read other books written by the sisters before and absolutely adored them. I've been highly anticipating Daughter of Darkness and this is seeming like it'll be amazing.
I loved the prologue with all the talk of heroes and Greek legends. It helped set the scene. It's not a pleasant sounding time, but I want to see more of this city.
Then when you get into the actual book...I'll admit. I stopped reading a page into the first actual chapter because I knew if I carried on then I'd want the book immediately.
