What appealed to me about this book originally was that it was based on Greek Mythology. I also loved the symbols around the numbers (I thought it was a nice touch). The cover certainly appealed to me instantly, as I thought of Medusa and I would be intrigued to see the role that she plays in this book as well.
From the prologue I really enjoyed the fact that it was from Death's perspective. It also ended on a point where I really wanted to continue as well.
