The story is punchy, greatly descriptive and detailed, swift moving, and very imaginative. The heroine is one of the Severers, who release souls from bodies, both good and bad and works for one of the three gods. There is blood guts and cruelty everywhere. If you like this genre, then you will like this book very much.
