Daughter of Darkness was a book that I was drawn to initially, because of its gorgeous cover (I mean look at it
*) and the fact that it has Greek Mythology. Therefore, I had high expectations for this novel and I wasn't
disappointed at all!! I found it very hard to make a proper review for this book,
without spoilers, but all I have to say is that the first chapters allured me right into the story, and I wasn't able to put the book down once I started reading it. The world building was amazing and the characters honestly felt so real and three dimensional. Of course there was also the right amount of Greek Mythology included (the myth of Orpheus & Eurydice, something I don't see enough in other books). Finally the plot twists literally made me gasp out loud and I can't believe I have to wait ages for the next book!
