An interesting take
I really enjoyed reading this book due to how fast paced the story felt, I couldn’t put it down. However, due to this I felt I didn’t connect to the characters as much as I had hoped to. The connections between the characters felt unexplored and a little bit forced at times.
The story was beautifully written and kept me hooked with a lot of mystery and intrigue as well as twists that held me captivated.
As someone who usually gets lost and confused when reading mythology I found myself understanding and following along easily which was great!
The main character Deina was very well thought out and I found myself caring about her more than the other characters, I would love to see more into her relationships with the other characters.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others that enjoy this genre. As well as this the cover is stunning and would look beautiful on display.
