I was so excited to have won a copy of this book as this is an author pairing I'd wanted to read from for so long! As with all Hot Key books key tropes are revealed on the back cover. Rivalry, secrets, Greek Gods and death sounds like to perfect recipe for me! It's everything I'm weak for and more, its the kind of read that you just have to keep going until the early hours of the morning just because it's so readable and you cant bear to put it down for even a minute.
The cover is beautiful and fits with the premise of the book so perfectly, even now its sat on my desk and I can't stop staring at it. Greek inspired novels are so common that its hard to bring something new to the table but this book definitely managed to do just that, it had every element most people will be familiar with when it comes to Greek mythology but also added so much more to the world and story.
