Katherine & Elizabeth never disappoint me!! I adored their Throne of Swans duo & so I was really excited to see where they would take Daughter of Darkness. Deina as a main character was absolutely brilliant. She was fierce and formidable I loved her! So many tropes I loved in this story, the love triangle, betrayal plus throw in a side of mystery & non stop drama. It was completely compulsive and I could not put it down.
The world building & character building was awesome and it kept me totally absorbed in the world. A gorgeous book filled with light and shade despite being set in the treacherous underworld!
The ending….urgh THE ENDING?! I was on the edge of my seat and that is where I shall remain until I pick up book two! Congratulations ladies another glorious YA fantasy that every reader will undoubtedly adore and be recommending on repeat to their booknerd buddies.
