I was expecting this to be a young version of Natalie Hynes or something along those lines as it was deemed to be YA but in fact it's very readable as an adult who is very much enjoying the current feminist revival of Greek mythology. It should be pointed out that the Greek myths aspect is simply part of the word building and not the basis for the story itself (unlike Natalie Hynes' and some other writers' work), but if you DO know quite a lot of about Greek mythology you might find it a little jarring in terms of the inconsistency of its loyalty towards those myths and the characters within. It IS a fun read but important not to take it too seriously and separate from more adult versions that are very much designed to be a retelling rather than 'inspired by.' The cover is beautifully designed and appropriate for the themes and storylines of the book.
