I went in expecting a lot because I have read other books by these authors and LOVED them, so there was a lot of pressure here! And this book is so vastly different, not only to their other books but also anything I’ve ever read before so it honestly could’ve gone either way!
And I loved it!
The world building was so vivid I felt like I could really step into the main characters shoes and see and experience what she was!
From the get go you are thrust into this world, and so overwhelmed by the emotions of the main character my heart was pounding!
There are so many twists and turns in the book, I love a good plot twist and moment of suspense and this book certainly has that covered!
And the cover!!!! It is absolutely stunning!! It looks like an Ancient Greek statue! The colours are so bright and vivid and it just perfectly matches the vibe of this book!!
I literally couldn’t recommend this book enough, please PLEASE read it!!
