Unfortunately the final three words in this book are....
“To Be Continued”
I find this unacceptable in a book which gives no indication on the cover that this is the first instalment of two and the second not expected until next year when most readers will have forgotten all about the first book.
The book takes characters from mythology and takes them on a quest into Hades to try to win their freedom. The plot is quite clever but long winded in parts. This could be due to it having been written by two sisters who each perhaps wanted their own wording and thus duplicated and extended the text unnecessarily.
I enjoy Fantasy fiction but this book was a great disappointment when the cover and synopsis made me think I was really going to enjoy this book.
If you wish to read it then perhaps wait for the second half to be published and read both together!
