This is not my usual genre but after reading the blurb and the first impression of this book it was an automatic click for me and i couldn't wait to get stuck in. So after impatiently waiting for my copy to arrive I very quickly got stuck in and just could not put it down!
First thing to mention is how gorgeous the cover is in real life the picture just doesn't do it justice so much better in person.
As much as i enjoyed most of the characters in the story I must say that Deina really stood out to me such a well thought out and developed character. The world building was amazing and made me feel like I was in the story which I always enjoy when I'm reading.
The book doesn't leave you satisfied at the very end but after reading I found out that it is in fact book one of a duology and so my excitement and impatience to find out what happens next is at an all time high! Good fun story that I highly recommend!
