The cover sucked me in - this looks just the kind of novel I love. Cryptic clues, sisters at war. I just wasn't sure about Ava and I wasn't convinced about the fire. With no mention of a body, why did they think Zelda could be dead? I also wasn't sure why Ava is so adamant that Zelda can't be dead. I'd like to read more and see if the author manages to weave the plot together in a believable way.
