Not sure i am the target audience. Judging from the cover I felt this was more of a young adult fiction novel and when I started reading and was introduced to twin sisters Ava and Zelda I felt that the book would likely appeal more to a younger female audience.

I also felt unsure about the strength of the plot. In the opening chapters Ava receives an e-mail from her mother telling her that her twin sister has died in a fire and that she has been unable to get in touch by phone. Instead of being horrified by this news Ava simply assumes this to be wrong and decides with no evidence that her sister is still alive. Yet Ava then returns back to her family home where the reader is then introduced to the alcoholic mother and the estranged father, characters i didn't find particularly riveting. The twins Ava and Zelda however were somewhat more captivating and there is undoubtedly some mystery surrounding the sister Zelda but I dont know if its enough to make me read on.
