This is an accomplished debut novel. Ava. And Zelda are twins who have not been in contact for twoyears. After getting an email to say Zelda is dead Ava has to return to the U.S. from Paris to follow her last steps.

This is not a conventional thriller but grabs you just the same. I didn't find any of the characters particularly likeable and at times I found the style a little hard to read but it is well worth reading . The picture of a dysfunctional family is well written. Zelda understanding of herself is well portrayed. As a debut novel this book is very well written and hopefully only the first of many by this author.
