This book follow Ava after just discovering that her twin sister, Zelda has died in a fire. However, there is a suggestion that Zelda isn't really dead. This allows the story to have an interesting plot. As well as this, there seems to be some secret hidden within the family which filled me with curiosity! Overall, I thought that the plot was very well done.
The writing style is also very descriptive which could allow you to create a good picture of what was happening in your head. However, in my opinion, there may have been too much description and this took away from the plot.
The characters were well created and had interesting backstories that had yet to be fully revealed from the 2 chapters i read. However, I would be interested to see how these characters progress throughout the book.
