The cover of this book is beautiful and eerie. Anything slightly alternative will always attract my attention hence my desire to have a copy of this book.

Having processed this news she has been forced to go back to her home town, to her roots, to face everything head on with letters Zelda has left for her. A game. After reading this book, I really couldn't believe how everything panned out. It was an eye opener, to see how other families cope with illness amongst other things and to see the harsh realities of being dependent on alcohol and prescription drugs. I didn't want the book to end but it did and I can't say I was happy with the outcome. I was left a little disappointed but maybe that was the point, not to know for definite what happened to Zelda. To leave you pondering on those details. It is quite clever really but deeply frustrating.
