The cover has a pretty illustration but menacing words - it's not immediately obvious this is a police detective story. The first few pages clarify that and give the interesting setting of Zurich. I felt rather as if the writer was carefully laying a trail of clues with every character and piece of dialogue. I have no idea what will happen next but I sense the plot may be too carefully crafted for my taste.
