I like the cover design. It reflects the title and makes it seem like the death mentioned in the title occurred under the trees in the summer. The use of yellow is effective in creating a summery feel and the font is of a good size. It's the type of book I would pick up in a book shop.
The extract itself is very good. The quote at the beginning creates intriguing and makes you want to read on. I'm not a massive fan of golf but the book seems very "police procedural" (when you ignore the mentions of golf) so it's right up my street. I'd like to read this.
