The book is a thriller, at first the death on a golf course doesn’t stretch the mind too far.
However, very swiftly the author takes us into a story of intrigue and secrets.
The characters have depth and the story flows, albeit one has to concentrate... as with most secrets, there is a fine web. Michael Theurillat, the author has weaved an extremely good plot that keeps the reader second guessing.
The book takes you into a world that’s extremely dark and with characters one wouldn’t choose to associate with in life. The author has bravely addressed difficult subject matters in a subjective and thoughtful way.
It certainly isn’t a run of the mill ‘who done it’ type of thriller.
